Babs's Background

Originally from Manchester, Babs has played and sung all her life; playing classical piano from 4 years old and vocal training at the Northern School of Music in the 1970s.

She moved to Shaftesbury in 1997 and since then has been involved with many Big Bands, Operatic Societies and choral societies including The Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, The Ambassadors, Purbeck Big Band and Frome Big Band.

She teaches jazz and classical piano and is CT ABRSM qualified.

Babs is happy to play classical pieces during wedding services as well if required.
